Today we hosted a visit of 30 companies at CD6 within the EPIC Annual General Meeting 2025 event in Barcelona. CD6 research lines were presented:

• Optical Metrology (Santiago Royo)
• Vision & Biophotonics (Meritxell Vilaseca Ricart)
• Precision agriculture applications (Fernando Diaz Douton)
• New AR/AV devices development (Carlos E. García Guerra)

Attendees have seen the latest results in LIDAR for autonomous driving, new medical instruments for ophthalmology or developments for vision through turbid media, among many other state-of-the-art applications of optical engineering and photonics.

The session ended with the pitches of 2 start-up's from the CD6 entrepreneurial ecosystem: SLIMOP Space and BEAMAGINE S.L.
