CD6 presents the latest innovations at 4YFN 2026

25/02/2026
The Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (CD6) of the UPC will be present at 4YFN 2026, the innovation and entrepreneurship event of the Mobile World Congress, taking place at Fira de Barcelona from March 2nd to 5th.

This year, the CD6 will participate in two exhibition spaces:
  • At stand 8.1C33.1B, with the company CRIBOOS TECH, a new CD6 spin-off operating in the field of digital health that develops medical devices for the prevention, screening, and monitoring of vision diseases, with the aim of facilitating early diagnosis and access to visual health solutions.
  • At stand 8.1C33A, within the scope of the European 6G-EWOC project, where a prototype of a connected LIDAR will be presented that uses artificial intelligence solutions for autonomous vehicles. This demonstration fits within the objective “AI-based applications for autonomous vehicles employing multiple sensor technologies” and represents a significant step toward the integration of advanced optical technologies in autonomous driving and 6G connectivity.

With this participation, the CD6 once again demonstrates its commitment to technology transfer and international collaboration on cutting-edge projects in applied optics, photonics, and intelligent systems.
