Innovations in biophotonics for the diagnosis and treatment of visual anomalies

The general objective of the InBioVis project is to develop photonic tools for the early diagnosis and treatment of visual anomalies in paediatric population, cognitive impairment diagnosis and ocular refraction. More specifically, the project will carry out research in photonics-based technologies and machine learning algorithms to develop systems based on eye tracking technology and autorefractometers (photorefraction and aberrometry). A substantial part of the project will be devoted to clinically validating the developed systems and their clinical applications.
