Scholarships for Excellence in Research, Knowledge Transfer and New Formats 2025

Yesterday, the awards ceremony for the 2025 Research, Transfer, and New Formats Excellence Scholarships took place in Terrassa. The initiative, organized by the Terrassa City Council, is aimed at PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s thesis students.
Several projects were submitted by members of the CD6: four in the PhD category and one in the Master’s category, with two of them receiving awards.
In the PhD category, the winning project was titled Low-cost stereoscopic system for in situ and real-time 3D analysis of vegetation in crops: optimization of water, fertilizer, and pesticide use, developed by Yarden Alonso López.
In the Master’s category, the awarded project was titled La respuesta pupilar como biomarcador en la evaluación del deterioro cognitivo: una nueva mirada, carried out by Saioa Guerrero Melguizo.
The other submitted projects were by Gerard de Mas Giménez, Sarvenaz Kalantarinejad, and Maite Valentino.
