Job offer: Software engineer

The CD6 offers a Computer Engineer position with the following characteristics:

Job summary:
Support to the lines of research carried out at CD6 (visual optics, spectral imaging, etc.), carrying out development tasks of image processing algorithms and data analysis, implementation of control applications and measurement, of user interfaces for experimental systems and development of project management tools. Support in carrying out experimental and/or clinical measurements, and analysis of the results.

Tasks:

• Computer consulting in the initial phases of project conceptualization
• Development of algorithms for image processing and data analysis
• Development of control applications and data acquisition
• Development of user interfaces for experimental systems
• Development of project management support tools
• Technical project documentation

Profile:

• Software engineer on equivalent

Technical skills:

• Databases MySQL, MariaDB, etc.
• Software development in PHP and HTML.
• Previous experience in software development in Python, C++, ROS, or OpenGL for research and prototyping, will be a plus.

 
Conditions:

• Contract duration: 24 months. May be extended.
• Start of the contract: 01/09/2023
• Place of work: CD6, Terrassa
• Dedication: Full time
• Schedule: Part-time
• Salary: 35.925,08€ gross per year

Requirements to be met by the candidates:

• Age: Under 30 years old
• No previous contractual relationship with UPC from February 28th, 2023
• Be registered in the Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC) the day before the start of the contract
