Jaume Castellà Maymó

MsC in cc. Physics at the UB, joins UPC to coordinate the R+D activities at the Dep. of Optics and
Optometry, where he participates in the process of creating the CD6. He has supported the creation
of several spin-off companies and has been a member of various board of directors. In 2009, he
participated in the creation of the SECPhO photonics cluster, of which he is currently Vice President.
Since 2001, he has been working as a managing director of CD6, developing activities related to the
center's strategy, business development, and linking with the industry.
