Carlos Enrique García Guerra és Enginyer en Telecomunicacions per la Universitat Nacional Autònoma de Mèxic (UNAM, Mèxic). El 2010, va obtenir el seu diploma de Màster per part de la Universitat Catòlica de Louvain (UCL, Bèlgica) i la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC, Espanya) després de completar el programa en Tecnologies de la Informació MERIT. Al 2016, Carlos va obtenir el seu PhD en Enginyeria òptica per part de la UPC i l'Institut de Tecnologia de Karlsruhe (KIT, Alemanya). Actualment treballa en el CD6 en el desenvolupament de sistemes òptics.
