Miguel Ares Rodriguez

Miguel Ares Rodriguez

BSc in Physics from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2003. PhD in
Optical Engineering from the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya - Barcelona Tech in 2009.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Optical Engineering, with activities focused
on metrology of complex-shaped surfaces by Shack-Hartmann sensing, active and adaptive
optics techniques, and 3D phasogrammetry for in-vivo 3D human body scanning. In the last 5
years he participated in 6 public and 3 private funded projects, and published 3 peer-
reviewed manuscripts as first author.
