New device to monitor renal litiasis

The Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (CD6) has participated in the development of a prototype device that will allow patients with renal lithiasis, colloquially called "kidney stones" to track their daily disease at a cost 30 times less than today. The electronics and the programming of this device has been developed by CD6 commissioned by the company Global Home Health Devices, led by Rosendo Gorge, a former UPC student. The CD6 team is lead by Dr. Jesus Caum in collaboration wih Fermin Alarcón.
