INNPULSO Network
In 2011, the former Ministry of Science and Innovation Ministry (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness at present), promoted the creation of the INNPULSO Network based on the towns who had been awarded the distinction of the City of Science and Innovation. This award recognizes the efforts made to promote the knowledge and science, innovation, tecnology and social infrastructures towards promoting sustainable economic model.Under INNPULSO Network, the City of Terrassa has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the scientific and technological activities that are taking place in the city.
The attached video is a part of this campaign and is devoted to the OQAS developed at CD6. OQAS is the result of one of the research lines at CD6 focused on the study of the human vision quality. Among other applications, assess the evolution state of a cataract or study pathologies such as dry eye syndrome, are now possible. In addition to the main results presented in numerous international publications and scientific meetings, research developed by CD6 in this field has resulted in the company Visiometrics located in Terrassa, that manufactures instruments for assessing the quality of vision .
