Dr. Josep Arasa receives the ASCAMM Best Scientific Collaborator Award

Josep Maria Martorell, General Director of Research of the Generalitat handed over the ASCAMM prizes for the 7th edition held on November 15th. On this occasion Dr. Josep Arasa, CD6 researcher, received the Best Scientific Collaborator award. This category aims to recognize the effort and cooperative spirit of those members of the innovation system who choose to increase the impact on the investigation activities, establishing formulas for stable cooperation.

The origins of the collaboration was in 2010 when CD6 and ASCAMM launched the joint research unit, named Quality Plastic Optics (QPO) with the aim of developing high-quality optical components using plastic injection techniques, combining the capabilities of both centers.

The  Best Scientific Collaborator award has been given to Dr. Josep Arasa, for his personal involvement in this innovative form of cooperation that has enabled the development of research lines of higher dimension and impact.
