PATRONUS: New industrial process for the manufacture of speckle pattern sheets

PATRONUS project, entitled "New industrial process for the manufacture of speckle pattern sheets", funded by the RETOS-Colaboración program (RTC2019-007422-4) developed by SNELLOPTICS, TECNAN, the Technological Center Lurederra and CD6-UPC, the center for the development of sensors, instrumentation and systems of the University of Catalonia, is in his second annuity. The main objective of this project is to develop a novel industrial sheet manufacturing process that generates a speckled pattern. During this year, the first feasibility tests for the deposition of the specific nanoparticles produced to achieve the desired speckle effects have been carried out. These first samples have been optically characterized, resulting in the possible feasibility of producing different speckle patterns by depositing these nanocoatings on substrates such as glass and plastic.
