Mapsi Photonics

Mapsi Photonics is a startup dedicated to the design and manufacture of filters and optical devices that work in the middle and far infrared. The differential technology is the use of silicon substrates as opposed to the filters currently on the market that are based on the use of multilayers of different materials, often exotic, which makes them lose accuracy and resolution, in addition to significantly increasing the cost. These types of filters are used for gas detection and thermal vision, and the main applications are in the field of industry and medical applications.

Mapsi Photonics has received the support of the CD6 photonic technology incubator (CAREF) which is part of the "Healtcare Innovation Lab Orbital40" project promoted and coordinated by the Terrassa City Council and funded by the following institutions:
