PLEXOF: Development of a novel process of manufacture by sprayed to obtain photochromic beam splitters, compatible with the industrial process of encapsulation of electro-optical devices

Under the financing of the RETOS-Colaboracion program (RTC-2016-5526-8) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, the PLEXOF project developed by the L'Urederra technology center, the Navarre Technology Company of Nanoproducts (TECNAN), the CD6 UPC and lead by the company SnellOptics faces its second annuity. The objective of this project is to develop a novel process of manufacture by sprayed to obtain photochromic beam splitters, compatible with the industrial process of encapsulation of electro-optical devices. In the first 12 months, the first feasibility tests for the deposition of the specific nanoparticles produced to achieve the desired beam splitting effects have been carried out. These first samples have been optically characterized, resulting in the feasibility of producing different beam splitters plates with multilayer coatings.
