Improving the accuracy of MTF estimations in double-pass systems

CD6 researchers participated in the Visual and Physiological Optics meeting (VPO) 2018 presenting the results of recent studies conducted in field of vision. The congress was held from 29th to 31th
August in Athens (Greece).

Carlos Enrique García Guerra presented his work where the effect of fundus scattering in double-pass systems is reduced to improve the accuracy of modulation transfer function estimations of the eye. The results from this work could improve actual ophthalmic instrumentation providing better estimates of the optical quality of the eye:

García, C.E., Martínez-Roda, J.A.,Aldaba, M., Díaz-Douton, F., Vilaseca, M., Vohnsen, B., Pujol, J. (2018): "Improving the accuracy of MTF estimations in double-pass systems". 9th European Meeting on Visual and Physiological Optics (VPO Athens 2018). 29-31 August 2018. Athens, Greece.

The research which has led to these results has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and  innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska – Curie grant agreement No 712949 (TECNIOspring PLUS) and from the Agency for Business Competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia.
