The Catalan Health Technologies Cluster

The new Health Technologies Cluster aims to share synergies to take advantge of new opportunities in the global market. This cluster is promoted by the Government of Catalonia to support the the value chain competitiveness in this field.

This new Cluster is created by the leadership of 17 Catalan companies and institutions with a common turnover of 650 million Euros and 6,500 employees.

One of the founding members of the cluster is Sensofar Medical, a spin-off company from the Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (CD6) whose mission is to provide state-of-the-art technology for the inspection of implantable medical devices and components, as well as leading-edge solutions for R&D worldwide.
