Seminar about the ocular optical quality's measurement

On June 11th Mikel Aldaba, researcher at CD6,  imparted a seminar at the Graduate Institute of Applied Ophthalmobiology (IOBA), University of Valladolid, entitled "Research in physiological optics from the laboratory to the clinic. Measurement of ocular optical quality."

The Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (CD6) of the Technical University of Catalonia has been working for over 10 years in the measurement of the optical ocular quality, constituting one of the main research topics of the center. It is a multidisciplinary field in which researchers from different specialties elaborate their works on research and development from different approaches.

Collaboration with the IOBA

The CD6 has been collaborating with the Institute of Applied Ophthalmology (IOBA), University of Valladolid in various studies in this line. The collaboration between both groups was reinforced with Dr. De Juan stay at CD6, which allowed to carry out a study published at an international conference and published the research in a recent publication in the journal Contact Lens and Anterior Eye.
